Dear Parents,
We have had a lot of fun the past two days. Yesterday we talked about Martin Luther King Jr. We read The Crayon Box that Talked by Shane Derolf. We talked about how we all are different, but we can still be friends. Then students made a hand print painting using different colors.
Today we continued our discussion about snowmen. Today students practiced drawing circles and used them to create snowmen. They then were given the freedom to decorate the snowman as they wanted. In the afternoon, we turned coffee creamers into snowmen with red hats. When talking about the snowmen we are discussing the big, medium, and little sized ball and the fact that it is cold. In rotations this week students are making snow trees and little books about penguins. Talk to your student about their different projects!
Enjoy your afternoon!
