About the Book Sale from Martha Powell:
Students! Think of it like a garage sale! You have some money in your pocket and what you see is what you get! There are NO previews, NO orders… this is ALL we have! MANY MANY books are a quarter or 50 cents. Some are a dollar! ALL the used books that are really inexpensive are on the tables.
We also have the Scholastic Buy one Book, Get one book free sale. ALL The scholastic books are on the shelves. This is where you pick 2 books and you pay for the more expensive one and the other one is free.
SO, if you pick one book that is 4.99 and one that is 6.99… you will pay the 6.99 and get the 4.99 book free.
Your parents may come and meet you at the book sale.
CASH or CHECKS only for the Used Book Sale.
Cash, credit or checks at the Scholastic BOGO.
The hours are 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
We will let children shop first and if there are any books left staff and adults are welcome to purchase. WE really want kids to have first choice on this … I hope you understand.
And you DON”T HAVE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! PLEASE take advantage of the public library for your summer reading too! It’s free!
Parents if you want to shop with your student please set it up with me first! I am only taking the kids to the book sale who have money. If you want your student to buy something please send in money labeled book sale. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING! If you want to shop with your student please e-mail/call me to set it up....DO NOT JUST SHOW UP AT SCHOOL! Thanks for your understanding and help with this.

Parents it is the end of year! Please make sure to read the blog for updates on school happenings. Also if you want any extra copies of paperwork please let me know ASAP! In addition if you have any concerns please let me know. This time of year is crazy for us all and I want to help you make a smooth transition into the summer!
