We have started a new book for the last couple of weeks of weeks If You Give a Cat a Cupcake by Laura Numeroff. This book will be an exciting way to end our year. In this book we look at cause and effect, sequence, real vs pretend, and vocabulary involving the beach.
The vocabulary we will be exploring is

swim
build a sand castle
rowing
lake
museum
gym
fiar
cat
cupcake
bathing suit
Along with If You Give a Cat a Cupcake, we will also be reading Laura Numeroff's other books and books about the beach.

Right around the corner! The Children’s Used Book Sale and Scholastic Buy One / Get on Free sale is Tuesday – Thursday: May 17 – 19, 8:00 – 3:00 in the Media Center.
The Used Book Sale is cash or check only please! Books as low as 25 cents! Stock up on summer reading!
Scholastic Buy One/ Get One Free: choose two books and the lower priced book is free. Cash, check or credit /debit card accept.

Friday, May 13- Artist Day- Your student will learn about various creative activities from professionals and semiprofessionals in different arenas.
Tuesday, May 24- Field Day-Please make sure your child is ready to be outside! I can't put sunscreen on your child so if you want please put sunscreen on them and send in a hat if you want. Some of the games are water games your child may wear a bathing suit underneath their clothes. Please also make sure they have a complete change of clothes. You may come and watch if you would like.
Thursday, May 26- Book Character Day - Have your student dress up as their favorite book character and bring the book to share.
Friday, May 27- Class Party- 9:30-10:30- Please join us to celebrate the end of school year!
Registration
If your child is not attending Roswell North next year you need to register him/her at his/her new school. Here are the things you need to take with you
1. ORIGINAL, or CERTIFIED COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE*
2. SOCIAL SECURITY CARD*
* we will make copies of these 2 documents*
3. GA. CERTIFICATE OF IMMUNIZATION: (Form 3231)**
(out of state immunization certificates must be changed
to GEORGIA
vaccines, a chicken pox vaccine, and the Hepatitis B
series vaccine are now required before a child may enter
school.
4. GA. CERTIFICATE OF EAR, EYE, & DENTAL EXAM:
(Form 3200)** (You must take your child to have these examinations administered.)
5. PROOFS OF RESIDENCE: Two (2) documents are
required. Examples: copies of utility bills, lease agreements, purchase contracts, etc IN YOUR NAME.
