Sorry for the uncreative title. I just couldn't think of a great name. Today was a fun day with show and tell. The kids love showing off their toys from home and talking about them. For the kids who forgot we gave them various items around the classroom they love to play with and had them talk about them. Also we spent a lot of time talking about nutrition. Students were given a picture of a shopping cart and healthy foods. The students glued the food in the shopping cart and we discussed the importance of eating healthy food to help us grow big and strong. Also today was beautiful day for recess. Please make sure to put sunscreen on at home or send your child in with a hat if you are concerned about the heat!
Don't forget Mother's Day Tea is Thursday, May 5 at 10am! If you can't come Mom, but want to send someone different in your place (aunt, grandma, dad, uncle, grandpa) that is fine as well. Let me know any questions or concerns!
