Parents-
We are having a great week and enjoying our time together. On Monday we planted seeds in milk cartons. We are eagerly anticipating them to turn into flowers. Wednesday we performed "magic". We put vinegar in a bottle and then tipped baking soda in with a balloon on top while saying the magic words. Then the balloon blew up and the vinegar bubbled to our amazement the balloon blew up.
Please return all picture packets or picture money ASAP! I need to turn those in.
Field Day is Monday, May 7, 2012 from 9-10:30am. Please put sunscreen on your child and a hat on. Your child must wear tennis shoes to participate. They are not allowed to wear tennis shoes I will be changing them into their tie dyed t-shirt. You are more than welcome to come watch and support.
We will be having Mother's Day snack on Wednesday, May 11 at 10am. Please come join us for our mini performance and snack. Please make sure you are on time we will be starting right at 10am.
Please send your child in their bathing suit with a swim diaper and shoes that can get wet (for example water shoes, sandals with back straps; not flip flops). Also if anyone could send in some empty spray bottles for water day please send them by Friday, May 4. We will be using them to spray water.

April 20- Hungry Caterpillar Snack- you will be receiving a note asking you to send in one of the food items from the very hungry caterpillar for the kids to share with the class
April 27- Artist Day- students are able to walk around and see different artists/musicians/creative people
May 7- Field Day- come join us for a day of fun outdoor events
May 9- Mother's Day Snack at 10am in Mrs. Massey's class- come join us for a special snack to help celebrate Mother's Day
May 11- Water Day- send your student in a bathing suit with an extra pair of clothes- we are getting wet
May 14- Pajamas Day- send your child to school in their pajamas
May 15- Favorite Color Day- wear your favorite color outfit
May 16- Picnic for lunch at Roswell Park
May 17- Class Party- 10am- contact Claire's mom or Tucker's mom for more details
May 18- Last Day of School
