Dear Parents,
I strongly encourage you to attend the art soiree and silent auction if possible it is lots of fun. You can download the invitation off the the foundations website. If you are unable to go and want to bid on the class note cards then go to http://www.rnefoundation.com/ , and click the Soiree Art button on the home page. The note cards are absolutely adorable. They should be posted on the website in the next day or two.
Also you should receive in your take home folder a request for you to send in an item for our hungry caterpillar snack next Friday. Each child has been asked to bring in a specific item from the book to share with his/her friends.
Also if you have any old books at home you would like to donate to the used book sale feel free to send them in. The used book sale will take place in May and used books are sold in the media center. These are books families are no longer using. Some books sell for 50 cents and some for a dollar.
As the school year comes to a close please watch the calendar closely. Some dates will be changing and updated so continue to check our calendar.

April 20- Hungry Caterpillar Snack- you will be receiving a note asking you to send in one of the food items from the very hungry caterpillar for the kids to share with the class
April 27- Artist Day- students are able to walk around and see different artists/musicians/creative people
May 7- Field Day- come join us for a day of fun outdoor events
May 9- Mother's Day Snack at 10am in Mrs. Massey's class- come join us for a special snack to help celebrate Mother's Day
May 11- Water Day- send your student in a bathing suit with an extra pair of clothes- we are getting wet
May 17- Class Party- 10am- contact Claire's mom or Tucker's mom for more details
May 18- Last Day of School
