Hello all the parents participating in my summer class at Lake Windward Elementary,
We have started out with a great week! I think the kiddos (and I!) have adjusted to our new surroundings and new schedule. Each and every day is very active and busy. Today was our first day of doing rotations: with Ms. Sarah students played the Candyland Castle game, with Ms. Susan students played with the IPAD, and with Mrs. Massey students worked on various goals and objectives. Later in the morning students used shaving cream to practice their pre-writing strokes. Of course a lot of the shaving cream landed on students' arms, hands, clothes, but it was a great way to practice those strokes. This afternoon we took a walk in the Lee Garden at Lake Windward. This garden has a small fish pond along with various blooming plants. Our days are always very buys, but very fun!
