Hi Parents,
Sorry that it has been a while since I blogged. I think it taking all of us a little extra time to get used to being back to school and having indoor recess has certainly not helped! We have done many exciting things upon returning to school:
Morning Group:
Made snowmen with our names
Took a sleigh ride with Ms. Susan
Made pretend winter hats with a pom pom and shell pattern
Colored bears then hid them inside a cave to talk about hibernation
Did marble painting with Ms. Wendy on mittens
Put animals inside a giant mitten just like our story
Afternoon Group:
Made snowmen with our names
Colored paper bears and hid them inside a cave and talked about hibernation
Made pretend winter hats with pom poms and shell pattern
Put snow (cotton balls) on top of mittens and practiced our counting
Did marble painting with Ms. Wendy on mittens
Put animals inside a giant mitten just like our story
And the week isn't even over yet!
Keep collecting and sending in Box Tops! The big competition is on now! All Box Tops forms are due by February 14!!!!!

January 17 Fickle Pickle Night- Go to Fickle Pickle and have dinner! It supports RNE!
Monday, January 21- No School- MLK day
Thursday, January 24- 100th Day of School
Friday, Feb 1- Friday, Feb 8- Pennies for Patients!
Wednesday, Feb. 6- Atlanta Hawks Night
Monday, February 11- February homework due
Thursday, February 14- Valentine's Day! There is no party, but students will be talking about postmen/community helpers and exchanging valentine's. More details to come
Friday, February 15- No School
Monday, February 18- No School
Friday, March 15- No School
Thursday, March 28- Boosterthon
Monday, April 2- Friday, April 5- Spring Break- No School
