The past couple of days have been filled with their usual business. On Monday we talked about size and order gingerbread men based on their size. Tuesday was the fantastic cookie decorating day. Students enjoyed getting to do fine motor activities with their favorite treats. THANK YOU to everyone who sent in a treat to help decorate. This helped make it very worthwhile for the kids. Wednesday we talked about Kwanzaa and made Kwanzaa coloring sheet. Today (Thursday) we discussed Hanukkah. Students cut, glued, and drew paper menorahs. Tomorrow (Friday) we will be discussing Christmas.
Recess
Parents we go outside for recess everyday as long as it is 40 degrees and above. Please make sure your child is dress appropriately to play outside for 20 minutes. If you do not have a heavy coat for your child please contact me so I can put you in touch with the social worker. Some children have difficulty transitioning to new clothes from season to season. If your child is that way please let me know so I can work with you to make sure your child is wearing the appropriate clothes for each season. I want to make sure each child is comfortable when they play outside.
